What is Finland for you? For me, it is something cozy, clean, safe, and very simple. Taste of childhood memories: family car trips and school getaways sprinkled with the sense of always-cold Finnish wind and sweet milk chocolate from Fazer. Thousands of lakes and islands. Rocks, pine trees, creamy salmon fish-soup and rice&butter pastry, liquorice, and looooong summer nights.
Some studies show that Finns are among the happiest people on Earth. I will not try to argue. Even as a tourist, you feel as happy as a kid.
Summer in Finland is gorgeous and regardless of how high-day temperatures (or not) get, Finns will wear T-shirts and shorts because not now -en when?

Occasionally I find myself guilty of some sort of rumination. People, places, events. The pictures help to bring vivid memories back, even if it was a place where you lived for some time.
